This 2 day course uses contemporary education principles to provide Midwives and Doctors with an opportunity to review their knowledge and skills in the management of maternity emergencies.
MaCRM's focus is on clinical expertise and human interaction.
On the second day of the course participants apply their expertise in simulated clinical scenarios which are audio and video recorded. Structured debriefing by trained CRM instructors facilitates the educational experience.
This course is designed for multi-disciplinary teams, midwifery and medical staff are encouraged to attend together. The course accomodates up to 8 midwives and 2 medical staff. The course is open to individual applicants who should contact the SDC. |
