This 3 day Paediatric Intensive Care course is aimed at Medical Trainees and Critical Care Nurses in ICU, Paediatrics and Emergency Medicine. It has a strong emphasis on essential theory required to manage seriously ill children supported by a challenging simulator component. It is heavily based on the Joint Faculty in Intensive Care Medicine (JFICM) curriculum. The technology used in this course includes high fidelity baby and paediatric mannekins available only in this Centre. It also incorporates communication skills and team management as an integral component. |
